The GeoMol project area encompasses the Alpine Foreland Basins within the Alpine Space Cooperation Area. Activity emphasis of GeoMol lies in five test and pilot areas, four in the northern Molasse Basin, one in the southern Po Basin, each focusing on a special issue of subsurface potential utilization or on natural use constraints due to geological risks.
